Steel and Stone Wandmaking Workshop
Create your own metal magic wand with a stone, gem or crystal setting while learning the basics of blacksmith wandmaking in this one day hands-on workshop. Learn how to draw out your own wand from the metal, including twisting and splitting the steel, drawing out the metal claws, and setting your stone or crystal in the shaft. Small groups of two to three people. Classes run on Mondays or Tuesdays from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
Where: Kryal Castle Blacksmith Shop
Dates: Mondays/Tuesdays. Not available on public or school holidays.
Time: 10.30am to 3.30pm
Ages: 16+ *
*Under 18s must have parental/guardian supervision.
Cost: $300
Provided:
-Metal, crystal/stone and tools
-Safety equipment (inc. goggles, gloves and apron)
-Tea or coffee
You need to bring:
-Leather closed toe boots and non-flammable clothing.
-Packed lunch as the castle food vendors will not be open.
-Water bottle.
